When a member of a family is diagnosed with a serious illness, it affects everyone around them. Family at the Forefront’s mission is to provide personalized support to families of those affected by serious illnesses, giving them the opportunity to create and cherish memorable family moments. Often, it’s the joy of living that fades when someone we love is in need, yet this joy is essential to everyone’s well-being, especially for a child. While a child may understand that caring for their sick mother is most important, they still feel the sadness of Christmas slipping away unnoticed. And Mom, whose child always comes first, would give anything to see happiness in her child’s eyes, if only she could.

My mother was, without a doubt, the person I loved the most, the one who deeply influenced me and for whom I feel an everlasting love. When she passed away in 2013 at the age of 60, an immense void took her place, both for me, her only son, and for the many people she touched. It was essential for me to keep her legacy alive and continue her heartfelt mission of spreading joy. Today, I am proud to see my own children carry on this legacy of generosity and family support.
